About Me
Leslie has earned Bachelor degrees in Liberal Studies & Nursing, a Masters degree in Marriage & Family Therapy, and a Doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology. As a charge nurse in a busy trauma center, Leslie worked with injured individuals that were in pain and afraid. Leslie also had the opportunity to comfort and reassure the families of my patients. These skills, coupled with her education and training, has made her a well rounded expert with people. Dr. Davis was trained in a variety of approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral and Psychodynamic therapy. Leslie enjoys working with people of all ages, backgrounds, orientations and ethnicities.
Dr. Leslie Davis is a licensed therapist in private practice in West Los Angeles and the Southbay. She has been working in the psychology field for nearly ten years, and works with a wide variety of issues including: relationship issues, anxiety, depression, substance abuse, parenting issues and couples work. Some of these problems are short term situations that can be easily addressed in a few therapy sessions, while other difficulties run deeper with more lasting effects (childhood wounds, phobias, etc.), and may require more attention. Leslie likes to work as a team with her clients to explore the issues in your life that are preventing leading satisfying relationships, and optimal happiness.
