About Me
I have earned Bachelor degrees in Liberal Studies and Nursing and a Master's degree in Psychology. As a charge nurse in a busy trauma center, I worked with injured individuals that were in pain and afraid, and also had the opportunity to comfort and reassure the families of my patients. These skills coupled with my education and training, has made me a well rounded expert with people. I am trained in a variety of approaches to therapy including Cognitive-Behavioral and a specific approach of hypnosis, called 5-path. I have worked in out-patient mental health clinics and in Private Practice. I enjoy working with people of all ages, backgrounds, orientations and ethnicities.
A variety of issues and problems are addressed in my practice, such as, body image, depression, abuse and trauma, all causing stress and anxiety that holds you back from truly enjoying yourself and living your life as it is meant to be: happily and fulfilled. Some problems are short-term situations that can be easily addressed in a few therapy sessions, while other difficulties run deeper with more lasting effects (childhood wounds, phobias, etc.) and may require more attention. Together, we will work as a team to explore the issues in your life that are preventing you from leading satisfying relationships and starting your own personal growth.I have a private practice in Beverly Hills, where I practice safe and compassionate therapy.
